NEWS:
- The Fall semester is quickly approaching. If you are interested in joining Kansas Crew and being part of a great group, click on the Join link to your left.
- The Jayhawks competed in the American Collegiate Rowing Association (ACRA) National Championship (5/22&23), in Oklahoma City. The racing conditions were fierce, but the Jayhawks prevailed.
Before the racing started some Jayhawks earned awards for their success off the water.
Abby Long and Kate Marples were both selected as First Team Academic All-Americans. Kelci Ankerholz, Angela Consolino and Evan Glidewell were selected as Second Team Academic All-Americans. Coach Jeremy Struemph was awarded the Women's Regional Coach of the Year Award.

Cassie Johnson, Aleeza Souvannakhot, Kelci Ankerholz, Abby Long and Kate Marples
The WVLt4 (Kate Marples, Cassie Johnson, Aleeza Souvannakhot, Kelci Ankerholz and Abby Long) had a solid weekend of racing. After winning their time trials on Saturday by 3 seconds, they went on to win the grand final beating out Michigan State by almost 6 seconds.
The MN4 (Natahn Kautz, Brandon Beckner, Dan Casey, John Dennis and Olivia Chao) had a great showing finishing in 9th place.
The MV4 (Neil Likens, Phil Barone, Scott Ogilvie, Richard Linkesch and Kylinn Gerstner) got off to a rocky start on Saturday, but won their semi-finals race as well as their final race putting them in a solid 19th place.
- Regular season competition finished up in Topeka this past weekend. Kansas Crew had a great showing, winning several races. Be sure to check out our results page to see how your Jayhawks did.
- CONGRATULATIONS TO DAVID GABEL. David (Kansas Crew Alumnus) won the 2010 Swiss Rowing Indoor Championships pulling a 6.15 2K.
- This is Kansas Crew’s first full year in the new 6 million dollar facility. It’s an excellent place to call home and we are happy to be here.
